Virtual training workshop on eco-hydrology and sustainable water management in mangrove biosphere reserve

This workshop was organized by Talabi Municipality of Bandar Khamir and in cooperation with the National Commission for UNESCO-Iran, UNESCO Regional Office in Tehran, Environmental Protection Organization. Target From holding this two-day workshop, explaining the challenges and emerging water stresses caused by development and climate change on the biosphere reserve, education and awareness raising about eco-hydrology and sustainable water management, examining opportunities for improvement, adaptation and establishment of ecosystem and limited storage system. , Enhance and involve local stakeholders, operators and policy makers to improve sustainable water management and storage sustainability .

first day The workshop, dedicated to lectures, is virtual and open to the public.

second day Eco-hydrological facilitation workshop and its impact on the long-term livelihood of local communities was held in person at the mangrove biosphere reserve in Khamir port.
